Leading Practice Webinar: Paper & Spreadsheet Risk Management vs Risk Management Software

Date: 09.09.14 - Tuesday - 10.00am - 10.30am - Webinar via GoTo Webinar
Organised By: RMSS  |  Type: Webinar

Overview

The need for effective risk, compliance and event management is increasingly becoming a Board level requirement as organisations face increased scrutiny from all stakeholders, including investors and regulators.

In today’s environment an increasing number of organisations face the challenge of trying to effectively manage risk, compliance and events/incidents utilising paper based systems such as spreadsheets.

Whilst in principal this approach can play a role in supporting a certain level of risk, compliance and event management, in reality it is fraught with limitations. This is not a new phenomenon, however many organisations are not making the transition to risk management software for reasons such as a lack of budget, lack of senior management visibility or inability to quantify the benefits of investing and transitioning to risk management software.

This educational webinar will compare paper based/spreadsheet risk management to that of risk management software including compelling content on the pros and cons, the opportunity costs, the limitations, the core benefits and the complications that arise due to inability to articulate a return on investment.
